As Principal for NewRoads Consulting, Maryanne serves as a Human Resources Consultant and Corporate Trainer. Her mission is to partner with organizations to help them manage the Human Resources side of the business. Maryanne recognizes the need for practical HR services that support organizations to meet their goals when working with less time and fewer resources. Maryanne takes a direct, targeted approach in her work to ensure her clients have a sound strategy that will move them forward, helping to attract and retain the best employees.
Maryanne's passion is to educate her clients, and to help them gain confidence and fortitude in managing the 'people' side of business. With a strong business background in Human Resources, and more than 25 years of experience working as a corporate trainer, Maryanne brings an informed perspective on leadership skills and people management. She provides clients with access to leadership tools and resources that are flexible, relevant and sustainable over the long term.
As well as operating her business, Maryanne also finds time to serve as a course instructor with Saskatchewan Polytechnic's School of Business & HR Diploma Programs, teaching courses on Human Resources Management, Employee Engagement, Talent Acquisition & Recruitment, Strategic Compensation and Conflict Management.
Maryanne holds Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan, and since 2005, has held her designation as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). She is a graduate of the Executive Coaching Program through Royal Roads University, a trained trainer with the 'Coaching Out of the Box' program, and in 2016, became certified as an EQi-2.0 and EQ360 Assessment administrator.
